MU Find Redemption at Villa Park

Step Manchester United in the English League Cup quarterfinals after removed stop at Crystal Palace. Although disappointed, Jonny Evans would like the "Red Devils" got up by winning the match at the weekend.

At Old Trafford, on Thursday (1/12/2011) morning before, MU is partly performed without a number of its main pillars, humiliated 1-2 through extra time. With that result, Palace entitled to advance into the semifinal with Cardiff City as the next opponent.

"We are very disappointed not to advance to the semifinals," said Evans, who was featured in the match as captain, told MUTV after the match.

"I think we can move forward after scoring a goal. And go into the first overtime play in the Stretford End, I think we have a chance of getting additional goals and win."

"But they finally scored a goal even though we have a lot of possession but we were not able to unload their defense. We did not get a cross in the box."

Manchester United will pay a visit to Villa Park to face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday (12/04/2011) pm dawn. This will be a test whether MU other than trying to get up chasing Manchester City.

"The contests will be many others who came and the manager will need a squad. So we had to get up and hopefully win on Saturday (at Villa)," added the defender from the Irish Republic.
